Davis Educators Represent TUSD at La Cosecha Conference

Their Bilingual Presentation highlighted the powerful impact of culturally responsive lessons in our Borderlands community. Together, they shared:
✅ Lesson overviews from 1st and 5th grade
✅ The planning process and key considerations
✅ Authentic lesson artifacts like books, student work, and graphic organizers
Participants even engaged in a sample activity and reflected on how to bring culturally responsive practices into their own classrooms.

La Cosecha is an annual event hosted by Dual Language Education of New Mexico, bringing educators together to celebrate and advance dual language education through research, best practices, and collaboration
